How to get rich
There are four reliable ways to build a fortune in BitLife, from slowest and safest to fastest and riskiest.
Get a high-paying job
The dependable path: study hard, earn the degree a top career wants, and climb its salary track. The best-paid regular jobs all demand a university degree or more.
| Career | Education | Salary cap |
|---|---|---|
| Music Composer | Undergraduate | $1,200,000 |
| Brain Surgeon | Medical | $821,715 |
| Plastic Surgeon | Medical | $621,715 |
| Pilot | Undergraduate | $280,735 |
| Psychiatrist | Medical | $276,030 |
| Santa Claus | Graduate | $250,251 |
A top career caps in the mid hundreds of thousands to low millions per year. That is real money, but it is slow. See Careers for the full list and every requirement.
Get famous
Fame turns a career into a money printer. A famous actor, musician, athlete, or influencer earns from the job itself plus commercials, endorsements, magazine shoots, books, and social posts every single year. Fame is the community’s pick for the fastest reliable income. See Become famous.
Own a business
The highest ceiling in the game is running your own company. After you have some starting capital, launch a business in a high-demand industry and reinvest the profit. This is how players reach billionaire and trillionaire net worth. The Business mode is premium (see Monetization).
Marry rich, then divorce
The shortcut: marry a wealthy partner, decline the prenup, stay married at least a year, then divorce with a good lawyer and take half. It is fast and it works, but it burns the relationship. See Relationships.
The casino is a fifth option, but it leans on an exploit. See Casino & gambling.
