How to live to 100
Longevity is about a boring, healthy life. Two challenges hang on it: reaching 100 (Centenarian) and the 100 Challenge, a perfect life with every stat maxed.
Living to 100
- Hit the gym every year and see the doctor at the first sign of trouble. Catch diseases early; see Health for what each one does.
- Avoid drugs, heavy drinking, and risky or adventurous choices.
- Keep Happiness high. Low happiness raises your risk of a fatal stroke, so spend time with family, watch movies, and meditate.
- Keep it low-key. A quiet, healthy life outlasts a wild one.
The 100 Challenge
This one asks for a perfect life: reach age 100 with Health, Smarts, Looks, and Happiness all at 100%, and only $100 in the bank.
- Restart if a starting stat is very low; Looks and Smarts are the hardest to raise from nothing.
- Grind all four stats for your whole life: study and the library for Smarts, the gym and spa for Looks, walks and meditation for Health and Happiness.
- Near the end, top up Looks with cosmetic surgery.
- In your final year, gift or transfer your money to a relative so your balance lands on exactly $100.
