Strategy
Castle Busters looks like a lot of separate screens, but it is really one loop feeding itself. This page shows how the pieces connect; the guides below go deep on the decisions that matter.
One loop, feeding itself
You battle, and battles pay out in two directions. Winning earns trophies that push you up the 26-arena ladder, and every arena unlocks a new unit, so the ladder is how your roster grows. Battles and chests also drop cards and Coins, which you spend leveling the units you already have. Stronger units win more battles. That is the whole engine.
Everything you earn flows into a few resources, and each one feeds specific systems:
| Resource | You earn it from | You spend it on |
|---|---|---|
| Trophies | Winning battles | Climbing arenas, which unlock units |
| Coins | Battles and chests | Unit upgrades, castle blocks, wheels, helpers |
| Cards | Battles, chests, wild cards | Leveling one specific unit |
| Wood | Battles and chests | Castle blocks and foundations |
| Gems | Offers and rewards | Skipping build and upgrade timers |
Trophies are the only thing that unlocks units, and cards are the only thing that levels them. Coins touch everything else. Keep those three moving and you are progressing.
The forge ties your buildings together
One number quietly gates three systems: your forge level. Raising it unlocks higher castle levels (up to forge 280), new helpers, and new wheels. If a castle upgrade, helper, or wheel is locked, the forge is usually why. Treat the forge as your main building-side progression track.
