Archetypes

Every playable gymnast is tagged with one of five archetypes. An archetype is the character’s training/play-style identity β€” it drives her dedicated idle animation, her signature pose, her avatar slot, and thematically aligns with her discipline focus. Each of the five archetypes is owned by exactly one gymnast, so the tag doubles as a character ID across the animation and UI layers. The roster table above shows the raw archetype labels; the mapping below is the canonical reading.

All-RounderLillyAll-around default; widest move pool

Artistic PerformerJasmineArtistry-focused Beam specialist

Move pool depth

Every move in the game is character-locked. Pool sizes vary 3.6Γ— from top to bottom. Lilly’s all-rounder breadth makes her the training default; Brielle is the most niche pick.

Discipline specialties

No character can compete in all 4 disciplines β€” Lilly comes closest (3 of 4). Vault has no moves in the shipped build, so no one has a playable Vault pool regardless of labelled role.

The Vault paradox

Brielle is labelled Vault Expert in the team-select screen, but Vault has no playable moves in the shipped game. Her actual in-game pool is her secondary discipline (Bars), which makes her roster the smallest at 36 moves β€” despite the label suggesting otherwise. The Vault discipline icon still appears in the UI, suggesting the event was planned but not populated with skills before ship.

Dialogue share

Lilly speaks exactly half of every line. The dialogue system pairs her with one other character per scene, never more.

Wardrobe

Each of the 5 playable gymnasts ships with exactly 60 outfits (50 competition + 10 training). The competition leotards are shared models β€” every character owns a per-character recolor of the same mesh, so one base leotard yields 5 distinct looks.
