What the agent does

Your Campfire agent is a game expert that lives in your Discord. When a player asks how something in your game works, it answers in the channel, drawing on your game’s real materials. Players reach it by mentioning it, by using /ask, or, in channels you turn on for it, just by asking. See how players ask.

What it answers

The agent handles the questions your community asks all day: the ones about how the game actually works.

  • Numbers and mechanics. Costs, stats, drop rates, level gates, unlock requirements, formulas. If it’s a value the game reads, the agent knows it.
  • “How do I” questions. How to reach a piece of content, clear a gate, or build toward a goal, in the order that works.
  • Comparisons. Which unit, career, plane, or route is better for a given situation, and why.
  • Where things are. What unlocks in which chapter, arena, or world, and what a player needs first.

Every one of these answers is grounded: the figures come from your game’s published build, and the agent can also draw on your source code and design docs when you connect them. See how the agent is trained and what a grounded answer looks like.

What it won’t do

The agent stays in its lane. Knowing the limits up front keeps your mod team from expecting the wrong things.

  • It won’t invent an answer. When the data doesn’t support a confident reply, the agent says so instead of guessing. Those moments become unmet questions in your dashboard.
  • It won’t handle account or billing support. Refunds, lost progress, and purchase problems belong with your player-support flow. You can route those to a channel or role.
  • It won’t moderate on its own. The agent answers questions. It doesn’t warn, mute, or ban players unless you build that into your own mod tooling.
  • It won’t spoil by default. Late-game content is gated behind a spoiler tag a player has to click. You control where that line sits on the spoiler rules page.
  • It won’t speak outside its channels. The agent only reads and posts where you allow it. Everywhere else it is silent.

Who it’s for

The agent is built for your players, and it’s run by your team. Players ask it questions. Admins and moderators shape how it behaves from the dashboard. Nobody needs to install anything or leave Discord.
