Flagging a wrong answer

Flagging a wrong answer

Sometimes an answer is off: a number is stale after a patch, or the agent read a question the wrong way. Flagging it tells us exactly what to look at. Here are the three ways, from quickest to most detailed.

React in the channel

The fastest flag is a reaction. React to the agent’s message with the 🚩 flag emoji and it’s logged as a bad answer, with the question and the reply attached. Your moderators can do this in the flow of a conversation without leaving Discord.

The Vintage plane's Engine caps at level 40.

🚩 1

A moderator who spotted the stale cap flagged it with one tap. That’s all it takes to put it in our queue.

Set which emoji counts as a flag, or turn reaction-flagging off, on the guardrails page.

Use the report action

For a bit more detail, right-click (or long-press) the agent’s message and choose Apps β†’ Report to Campfire. You get a short form to say what’s wrong: outdated, misread the question, wrong recommendation. That context helps us sort a data problem from a phrasing one.

Send it to us

For anything involved, or a pattern rather than a single message, tell us directly on your shared Slack channel or at support@atcampfire.xyz. A screenshot and a line about what the right answer is gets it fixed fastest.

What happens next

Every flag lands in one place on our side, tied to the exact question and answer.

  • Stale after a patch usually means a data refresh is due. We run it and the number corrects itself.
  • Misread the question is a tuning fix on our side. No action needed from you.
  • A real gap in what the game’s data can answer is something we’ll talk through with you.

Flagged answers also show up in your dashboard, so you can see what your team has reported and whether it’s been resolved.
