Roles & access
Access to the agent follows your team, through the Discord roles you already use. You decide who can change how the agent behaves, who can only read the analytics, and who can pause it in a pinch.
The three roles
The dashboard has three levels of access.

- Admin runs the agent: persona, channels, spoiler rules, escalation, and access itself. Keep this to a small group.
- Moderator keeps the peace. A mod can read analytics and pause the agent, but can’t change its configuration.
- Analyst is read-only. Good for a designer or PM who wants to watch what players ask without touching settings.
Mapping to Discord roles
Rather than manage a separate user list, you link each dashboard role to a Discord role. Anyone with that Discord role gets that level of access when they sign in. Add a new moderator in Discord and they get moderator access automatically.
Link roles under Access in the dashboard. An admin makes the initial links; the owners named at onboarding start as admins.
Link to roles, not individuals, wherever you can. It means access follows your team as it changes, with nothing to clean up when someone moves on.
Changing access
An admin can change the role links any time. Removing someone’s Discord role removes their dashboard access on their next sign-in. If you need to cut access immediately, remove the role in Discord and, for an admin, confirm the change took effect in the dashboard.
Who can add or remove the agent
Adding the agent to a server, or removing it, is a Discord action that needs the Manage Server permission, separate from these dashboard roles. Keep that permission with your server admins.
