Capturing and elements

Palmon: Survival’s core loop asks you to find a wild Palmon, weaken it in a fight, then capture it rather than defeat it outright. None of this loop’s numbers (capture chance, timer length, weakening threshold) exist anywhere, so this page describes the shape of the loop, not its odds.

Community take

Everything below is player-observed and sourced from third-party guide sites, not verified game data. Treat it as a description of how the game plays, not a confirmed fact.

The capture loop. Guides consistently describe fighting a wild Palmon down, then using a laser or canister tool (commonly called the Palcatcher) during a timed window to catch it, rather than finishing it off in combat.

Element counters. Player guides describe four elements, Water, Fire, Electric, and Earth, in a consistent counter cycle: Earth beats Electric, Electric beats Water, Water beats Fire, and Fire beats Earth. This shows up across multiple independent guide sites with the same cycle, which is why it is included here, but it is a relationship between elements, not a number, and this wiki has not independently verified it.
